Anybody else NOT want to see Vazquez-Marquez III?

    I mean Vazquez-Marquez 4 lol

Vazquez basically said there is a possibility of them fighting again last night on Showtime.

I really dont want to see it. They already fought 3 times in a row and did the whole trilogy thing. What happens if Marquez wins 4? They fight again? I really want to see them fight other people. They are ranked at the top of the division as #1 and #2 but its ****** because nobody else is even getting a chance to prove themselves.

I want to see them mix it up with Molitor, Caballero, Juanma Lopez, Ricardo Cordoba (underrated unknown from Panama, kid can fight he beat Caballero already and beat Luis Perez in his last fight), Jhonny Gonzalez, Concepcion, and guys like that.

Then maybe they can meet somewhere else down the line. But for now give other people a chance to prove themselves. They cant just keep fighting each other forever because its exciting.

They did the trilogy, it was an awesome trilogy. They had 1 very good fight and then 2 of the best fights I have ever seen. But now lets move on and see them against some other fighters.

      Yeah, I agree.

Plus, they're simply ruining each other physically. I'm gonna be interested in watching both their next fights, just to see if all the accumulated damage has had a noticeable effect.

I definantly don't want to see it, I think Vasquez has proven to be the stronger fighter. Vasquez is just a fight that doesn't match up well for Marquez. Marquez is known for fading in the middle and late rounds, the exact rounds where Vasquez usually gets stronger.

I'd like to see either fight Vic and that Concepcion guy..

          I'll agree with the TS

plus im pretty sure another fighter in the 122 pound division Caballero, said more or less the exact same thing about Vazquez/Marquez

that they keep fighting each other and don't allow for other to get a crack at the top spot

and worse is if Marquez does win the 4th fight they'll probably have a rematch.

which would mean Marquez/Vazquez 5 .. to the death

I never thought of that, and that would probably happen.

And I forgot about that Caballero kid, Vasquez should take him, Marquez should take Vic.

well correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure Cabellero fought on the televised undercard of Marquez/Vazquez II

eh as nice as Vazquez/Cabellero and Marquez/Vic sounds

I see Vazquez/Marquez fighting to infinity and beyond.

I'd be down for a 3rd fight, but of course I won't be mad if they don't do it. Izzy has established himself as the slightly better fighter, and they haven't even gotten serious paydays for damn near killin each other in 3 fights. Let em move on.

well from the Showtime interview with Izzy he seemed pretty certain that a 4th fight with Marquez was going down. in March or April of next year I believe

yeah they really need to move on, surprised that Showtime hasn't made a PPV out of any of the 3 fights

I guess it'll have to wait till they fight a 5th or even 6th time.

All three fights were great, and we all know it's going to exciting. Even though Rafael is one of my favorite fighters and I wouldn't mind to see him tie it up at 2 I just think the fights have taken a toll on both. I would rather see how other guys in the division, Cabellero, Molitor, and Lopez would do against them.
