Glen Johnson(2004 version) vs. Joe Calzaghe(now)

    Who wins?

One of the reasons Hopkins didn't win is because he didn't throw enough. Although I'm picking Roy, one of the reasons Roy could lose is because he won't throw enough against Calzaghe. Again, my prediction is Roy by decision, but I could see him losing because a lack of punch output.

Glen Johnson throws alot of punches, he never stops coming. Could Glen Johnson do good against Calzaghe? Could he possibly win? Glen Johnson gave Chad Dawson trouble...hes just real tough.

The Johnson that beat Roy would be a very tough opponent for anyone at Light Heavyweight. Calzaghe would land a fair amount of punches on Johnson but Johnson would keep coming forward landing the harder punches to the body and head. I think it would be a close one but i would lean towards a Calzaghe decision, on a side note i had Johnson Dawson a draw. If Johnson can pick up another belt at some point soon i would love to see rematches against Dawson and Jones.

I don't know, but the Johnson that battled it out with Tarver would have been an exciting fight.

I would still favor Joe because he is undefeated and say what you will about him, when he gets smacked around for a bit, a fire lights under his ass and comes back strong as hell.

Joe also tends to fight at the level of his competition. I remember watching a while back when he was on Showtime and remember not being impressed; Joe barely won the fight. Then I saw him a bit later and he won in better fashion...but nothing like the way he handed the ass whooping on Lacy and then out-boxing Kessler.

Styles make fights, I think Calzaghe's style would mean a lot of problems for Johnson, Calzaghe, while looking like he has lost a step still is a high workrate guy, Johnson waits for his opponents to finish punching before punching back himself which would not work against Calzaghe.
