Well guys, we were wrong.

Wrong in thinking RJJ had anything left. This is not revisionism....just saying Roy just didn't have it in him. We were hoping, believing, probably deluding ourselves that he could turn back the clocks one more time, but...nope.

Hope he retires now. Wondeful boxer but he didn't deserve that tonight. Not even for the paycheck he got.

As for Calzaghe, my opinion is unaltered. I can't stand his fighting style, his personality and his showboating. But you gotta give it to the guy - his opponent selections skills are genius. To get Hopkins and RJJ as your last two wins is what he wanted. He doesn't care if they were severely diminised versions of their prime selves- he got what he wanted.
