Sanctioning bodies, WBC, IBF, WBA...why do you have to pay them?

Anybody know why Fighters have to pay them...where does the money go exactly?

Hundreds of thousands of dollars for big fights for....?

Well, the belt the boxer is handed ain't cheap! At least 50 bucks is spent on that. Then you also got to tip the manufacture.

If there's any money left, I guess it goes to maintenance of Gilberto Mendoza's and Jose Sulaiman's palaces.
