I still have hope for JC JR

Going into the Vanda fight i thought he was a bum and that Chavez would ko him. Well that did not happen. Anyways he pulled out a hellacious fight. One question for you guys is this, does Chavez beating Vanda convincingly mean its a good win for him since Vanda showed he is not a bum?

Anyways i think he will win by Late KO tonight if he training camp went as well as it should have. If he wins by ko or a one sided decision i still would let him fight a few more C level guys before he gets to the B level. Then a world title shot.

I have patience with fighters i like, i know you all dont have it with him but lets just see what time will tell us with Chavez

First off, calling fighters "bums" is ignorant and weak by internet standards. People who call boxers bums do so only to degrade the merits of a fighter who upends them.

Matt Vanda is no bum but he is clearly a few steps below the upper echelon of the division. Losses to Demers, Kenny Kost and Anthony Bonsante show where he stands in the division. For Chavez to defeat him in a less convincing way than those guys shows where he stands in the division.

Will beating Chavez Jr. beating Vanda make him a great fighter? No, no way Jose. Will it help restore some of the lost marketability and confidence in him, perhaps.

Chavez Jr. will likely get a similar decision in this fight with Vanda but his lack of defense or variety will always come back to bite him in the ass against good fighters.

If someone dislikes Chavez Jr, they aren't Mexican? You should ask your homey Xcaret as well, he said Chavez Jr. is a bum and he hopes he gets KO'ed.

I am Mexican and I believe Chavez Jr. is a glorified bum. All of his 30-something fights have been glorified sparring sessions until he bumped into Vanda and he got 'sick.' What a coincidence uh?

Everyone is sick once they get in a tough fight. It is the most frequent excuse I come across.
