    Through accumulated damage, yes.

I can possibly see a stoppage on cuts as Angulo has very prominent eye brows, however, I don't know if Cotto would remain planted enough against the larger, stronger Angulo to hurt him. Angulo's beard would factor into that as well.

Angulo and Margarito fight similarly and they both have suspect defense, I doubt Angulo could have taken the shots that Margarito took back in July.

Angulo tools him. Cotto better stay away from the 154lb division. he doesn't have the skills to hang with the big boys.

i don't want to see angulo risk getting damaged this
            early in his career.
i mean its one thing when second tier manfredo stepped up way over his head against slappy. it was a win win situation.

but for angulo to step up to cotto. imo he risks getting hurt physically and mentally!
i know alfredo has look good...but the level of comp... sure better than vanes but still not nearly world class.

Yeah, it was just a question of size and strength over skill and experience. I think Cotto might be too small. But like Silencers stated above, Margarito took some hellacious shots from Cotto. Angulo could likely take more due to lack of experience at this point. His chin and power would have to be better than Margarito's to achieve the same result that Tony achieved. But I think he punches harder being that he's a larger man.

If you're talking right now, I think Cotto would just pick Angulo apart to either a late stoppage or a wide UD.

In the future, if Angulo can tighten up his D, and just continue to progress, I think he'd be too much for Miguel.

At the present time though, the experience of Cotto and defensive liabilities of Angulo says to me that Cotto would win and look impressive doing so.

sorry bro, i didn't see this tread, BTW I think, Perro rearrange Cotto's face a, ala Margarito, and make the entire HBO crew and Michael Buffer cry again,
i suggest Cotto not to bring his kids and wife to ring side this time.
