Floyd wins but it is boring, he counter him but not often it looks a little like Hopkins-Calzaghe but without the clinches and both Joe and Mayweather landing more frequently. It's relatively close IMO, Prime Roy would do better against Joe than Mayweather IMO

Considering Hopkins was 43 years old and about 8 years past his peak...yeah, I would say Floyd would do much better P4P/fantasy fight wise.

I think Manny is losing it because Hopkins was better back in the day and yes, he did fight from round 1 on quite nice. It wasn't until after Tito, as he aged, that he started to conserve and be boring.

If they compromised at 160 Joe would win Floyd would be slower an he'd be giving up alot of height, Reach and overall size.

If they were in the same weight class, they'd never fight b/c Floyd would be too scared that he'd lose. He'd duck him like he did every other threat. If they did fight I'd still pick Calzaghe because he's smarter and can adjust to adversity better.

Floyds a great technical fighter? Dude rarely throws a jab... I'd say he is a better defensive fighter then technical, does he win by points? Yes, but he rarely relies on a solid jab.

hmm... I don't recall saying Floyd throws his jab a lot. Yes he is a great technical fighter. He has very, very solid fundamentals. He's just able to lead with left hooks and rights because hes fast enough to do so. If you're saying he's not a technician then I have nothing to say to you.
