from the pics ive seen they seem to be really same size with tony being taller
i agree this would be a very great war but u gotta go with margarito experience angulo has never faced a pressure fighter like him, but they sparred a lot of times so he will be knowing what to expect
still margarito can definitely dominate at 154 the division is filled with average champs that dont posses the natural gifts of amazing stamina and chin that margarito has, as a proof look at maravilla martinez everyone is impressed by him but they forget margarito tkoed him

I think people are delusional or missing somthing, I mean Angulo already said he gets the better of Marg in sparring. How can anyone not be surprised by that?

Cause I mean, Body for Body...Angulo is a real 154 lber. There's no way he would be able to make 147, Angulo isn't that small. Margarito is.

Angulo vs any Welterweight that isn't Paul Williams is just a waist of time.
Margarito is definitely a 154 pound fighter. He may not be as effective beating up on guys who are his size or bigger, but he's got the size. g

I seen Tony fight twice at 154, and in neither fight he was able to impose his will, was on ***** st in the firts rd vs Santos and Santos is not regarded as a puncher. I think Angulo punches harder than Santos and doesn't take as many punches as Margarito, he also walks the ring well and has a stiff jab, perfect mix to beat Margo imo.

lol Yeah, youre gonna need a little more then that...

Just cause Marg can hang at 147, doesnt mean he can **** @ 154.

He's shown MINOR success @ 154, and that was when he some decent speed in his hands. He's BARELY shown that he's 154 material. And I doubt he'll ever show he's a 154 material. His best weight is 147, lol Deal with it.

so going up to 154 and losing a very close fight, in the other fighters hometown, in a fight that was stopped due to a head butt, in a fight that margarito was winning on one card, and down by 1 point on another, in a fight were he was starting to take over and was going to win in the later rounds like he always does, against a hard hitting bigger guy that is the current wba 154 champion, and a 3 time world champion and this is the logic to you use to say he cant compete at 154? Nevermind that he's 8-1 above 154 with the only loss coming to santos which i just explained. Of course pathetic casual fans like you will say who did he fight lol typical non-educated fans of the sport response.

Both Angulo and Margarito are huge for their weight classes.

At 154 Tony stops being the bigger man in the ring, his power and chin advantages almost go out the window. Look at his fight with Santos. I am pretty convinced that at 154 there are at least a handful of guys they handle Tony.

Santos has tremedous one punch power. Watch his early fights. He's just been fighting like a *** since his KTFO by Kofi Jantuah. He was never the same.

No actually because the bad ass thread, and Angulo looks like a Margarito clone. Him and librado andrade, Victor Ortiz, Margarito, and Margarito could move up to 154 anytime, Cottos not the best in the world thats all, anybody think he could move up in weight? But he had better choose a wise oponnent like Cotto, not Angulo, or Santos if he wants to live

I actually just seen that photo.
