What do you guys think about James Kirkland?

Can't help but love watching him fight. I know he is chinny, but he has youth on his side and has a lot of room to improve. Do you guys see him getting a title shot in the next year or so? Or maybe you think he will get stopped before he gets a chance?

I'm a fan. I first seen him in his fourth fight. Didn't see him again for another 2 years or so. Was happy when he jumped back on the scene, I like his aggressive style. Combined with his speed and power, he makes for good action. I think another year of prospect fights, and then a title.

I keep imagining him fighting Vernon Forrest. Vernon is a better fighter, but I think James could give him a run for his money right now despite his flaws. Would love to see it!

James fucks him up, badly too. He'll suffer a bit for it, but I think with his youth and aggressiveness, he overwhelms Vernon at this stage of his career.

Kirkland has potential, he's sometimes open to counter shots when he comes in but one thing is for sure, the guy is exciting to watch.
