I don't see Mosley or Quartey beating Mayweather at 147. Both Cotto and Margarito would have a decent chance against him but I would still pick Floyd. I would have a tough time picking Floyd over a prime Tito at 147 though.

          you overrated floyd.

          great lightweight
          good welterweight

we've never seen mayweather against a real big boy (besides de la hoya who was old), ODLH's jab bothered mayweather hugely, how could he beat a big guy with an amazing jab like quartey.

Both Cotto and marg would be favored to beat oscar now, so why does that win mean so much for floyd?

margarito and cotto would knock mayweather out
i think he would be too scared of clottey and williams and would lose a decision like rjj did in the third tarver fight

I think all the fighters listed would have a solid shot at beating him in their primes.

What do you all think about the 80's era of welterweights? Would these guys beat Floyd?

P-Will is the only one who can MAYBE beat Floyd in WW right now IMO... I think he could outbox Cotto and Margo....

How do you all think Mayweather would do against True Welterweights and True power?

Zab Judah was a light welterweight, Ricky Hatton was a light welterweight, Mitchell was a light welterweight and Baldomir was a feather fisted slow welterweight.

We all know that those fighters should not label you as p4p welterweight king.

So how would Mayweather do against these fighters in prime?

Antonio Margarito, Shane Mosley, Felix Trinidad, Miguel Cotto, Ike Quartey, Paul Williams, Cory Spinks, Ricardo Mayorga and Joshua Clottey?

Judah is a welterweight... he's a 2 time welterweight champion of the world.... at light welterweight he didnt do much besides beating Witter, defending the IBF title against 4 virtual nobodies until being KOed by Kosta... it could def be argued he's had his best runs as a welterweight

Baldomir didnt seem too feather fisted busting up Judah and KOing Gatti

and thats waaaaay too many people to be discussing in one thread
