This is terrible, just terrible. That said, Valuev TKO; if he does anything less, they should BOTH retire.

Seriously though, 'vanders gonna get brains shook into goo. He'll just follow Valuev around the ring, hardly throwing anything (because his reflexes are shot), while the begloved circus attraction rains down punishment from the outside.

Bottomline: easy money for Valuev, an expensive ambulance ride for Holyfield.

      Shame ..Shame... SHAME.....

This is a SHAMEFUL fight. More so even than Oscar and Pacquiao. At least Manny can use his agility to try (I said try) to keep away from harm, although I don't think he'll be able to do it for more than a few rounds. But he is young, and can easily recover.

Holyfield, on the other hand should have not only NO chance of winning, but must be far down the list of LIVE heavyweights, and, not being even a true Heavyweight, this makes iot all the worse. not to mention that he'll hardly land a blow, and will not be able to recover well from a Valuev left jab, which, I'm told is really a rather hefty punch.

Klitschlo-Rahman is better, although not all that much, but is serving it's purpose of being a "fill-in" fight to avoid cancelling the programme. And it has never pretended to be anything more.

Aiight this is where Kali Meehan needs to step up and say hey wtf did Holyfield do recently that I didn't do? He's a good champion but that was yesteryear ya kno? Meehan deserved this shot waaaaay more then Holyfield and would put on more of a show. Same thing wit Chambers and Rahman, Rahman ain't done nothin for it.

LMAO!!!!! Good one! Evander, I once respected you beyond all others. Today, though, please go away.

I actually think Holyfield will do better than many give him credit. When was the last time Valuev knocked out anybody? Most of his wins over the last few years have been close decisions or split decisions or majority decisions. I mean he just had trouble with some guy for twelve rounds that Guinn starched in two rounds. Valuev is very slow and I think Ibragimov is actually the better puncher and he couldnt he really hurt Evander. I see Valuev winning a decision with a lot of grab and hit for twelve rounds.

very true for all the crap Holy's getting, he's just really old.
I doubt he'll take a lot of damage (hopefully not)
and he'll probably lose much like you say.

and speaking of Pac/DLH here's another Margarito quote on the fight via an espn article .. have fun

"Now Oscar is getting brave with a 135-pound fighter and is trying to convince everyone that it's a tough fight," Margarito said. "He's getting brave with a great fighter, but a fighter who fights at 135 pounds. He wants to show the world that he can pull the trigger against a 135-pounder. What a man! What a hero!" Antonio Margarito

That quote was lifted from Rick Reeno's article having to do with Margarito bashing De La Hoya. Of course ESPN left out the proper credit. All the way at the end. No surprise that major outlets are slow on the ball and have to come here for their news.

This is pure CRAP...What network will buy this garbage? Oh wait they'll expect you to pay $50 for this nonsense. If you pay to see this I seriously question you sanity. The mainstream media is gonna have a field day with this: Boxing is dead, It's a joke, Who still watches Boxing. Not what Boxing needs right now, just another circus act.

I think it's only going to be on TV overseas.
