It probably didn't even do that much. Just reiterates the fact that not too many people are willing to pay $54 to finance Hopkins' retirement fund. **** Golden Boy and their garbage match-ups. What's next, Hopkins-Mayorga?
Hopkins-Pavlik PPV only does 190k buys.

I'm an avid fan, I'm not poor and I'm buying two PPVs on Oct 8th, but I decided against buying the Hopkins vs. Pavlik PPV. -
Same here. I buy a good 7-9 PPVs a year and there was no way in hell I would spend a dime on that one. It should've been on Versus or ESPN Friday Night Fights. As far the undercard goes, thats another Golden Boy tactic; they don't want any of the undercards to overshadow the garbage thats displayed on the main even. Especially, if its Oscar, Hopkins or Mosley in the main event.Comment

He did pretty good money against Winky
Hopkins' fault. That fight between him and Cal left a sour taste in everyone's mouth. He'd do better in his next PPV if he fought again like he did against Pavlik.Comment
