Hopkins-Pavlik PPV only does 190k buys.

I'm an avid fan, I'm not poor and I'm buying two PPVs on Oct 8th, but I decided against buying the Hopkins vs. Pavlik PPV.

Same here. I buy a good 7-9 PPVs a year and there was no way in hell I would spend a dime on that one. It should've been on Versus or ESPN Friday Night Fights. As far the undercard goes, thats another Golden Boy tactic; they don't want any of the undercards to overshadow the garbage thats displayed on the main even. Especially, if its Oscar, Hopkins or Mosley in the main event.

He did pretty good money against Winky

Hopkins' fault. That fight between him and Cal left a sour taste in everyone's mouth. He'd do better in his next PPV if he fought again like he did against Pavlik.

That ship has sailed long time ago. He could get in there Jersey Joe Walcott and nobody would buy it.

Not true. His previous PPV fight did over 300k buys. It was the Calzaghe fight. He stunk up the joint being so defensive there.
