    Favorite style

What is your favorite kind of boxer there is many styles ! flashy (RJJ etc.) , Defensive counterpuncher picking shots (Toney etc.),Pure boxer (Lewis etc.), Straight brawler who comes to fight (Gatti etc.)! I myself love watching brutal KO's so definatley mine would be straight coming to kick your a@# straight up brawling ! I guess that's why Tyson is my all time favorite boxer that I grew up watching !

I love Tyson. I also appreciate a smart boxer with sound fundamentals when they are needed. Barrera vs. Hamed comes to mind. Those are two opposite styles, and I must admit I can't stand Hamed's style. That's probably why I don't enjoy watching Darchinyan, Witter or Billy Dib, too. Flashy, unorthodox styles can only go so far and will generally lose out eventually to the guy who didn't throw the rule book completely out the window!

Calzaghe (Lacy era), Barrera, JMM, prime Hopkins, Kessler, and of course Prime Tyson whose movement used to be incredible. I'm also a big Hearns fan.

I voted #2, btw. I do enjoy a brawler though, as long as he's smart.

Pure boxer is a terrible description of what I like, but it is the best.

Pure boxer includes Cory Spinks... but I like the Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Lopez, Nonito Donaire types the best.

Winky Wright's individual style is also a joy to watch for me. Literally stands there and blocks every shot thrown... just incredible.

I like all kinds of styles.

Punching technique plays quite a bit in how I like watching a fighter.

I preferred Barrera to Morales, even though Morales is probably the more exciting fighter for two-way action fights. I just like Barrera's punching form better.

Another reason why I prefer Wlad to Vitali. Wlad's punching form is nice to watch, Vitali's punching style is too ugly for my liking.

I also like Winky, and I'd probably put him in the pure boxer class, if anything. Great defense and great jab.

Oh, I forgot to mention Kostya.

got to love AAs pop out of shell defense and knock a mofo out with one uppercut. That one second is worth watching an entire 12 rounds such as what he did with Ayala. I was so pissed at him during that entire fight for not kncoking out Ayala, then one uppercut late in the 12th and hes asleep.

Also, I can't ****ing stand Gatti and the way he fights. ******ed brawling is just painful to watch.

There needs to be some sort of defense and/or punching technique.

hard to say I like exciting competative bouts, whether it be a boxer or brawler it depends a lot on the right match up.
