Andy Lee Struggles to Make it Back From Defeat

First 'The Contender' reality show participant Brian Vera stopped him in a colossal upset. Then, in his first fight back from the Vera debacle, he suffered a nasty gash from a clash of heads with Willie Gibbs before stopping Gibbs in the 10th round. [details]

i feel sorry for the kid, Steward pumped him up and told the world he's ready to fight the best and win and it's clear he is not. On ESPN he tried to make a good impression and got beat hopefully he'll learn and grow from this experience.

Lee needs to improve a few things, he has potential though.

Lee might a had a chance but he spent too much of his career with that Uncle Tom idiot Steward. He was mismanaged by Stewart. Stewart also mismanaged 1 of the great gyms in US history (Kronk gym) into debt & eventually being closed down.

If he had a tough time with Gibbs he won't make it to the top. Gibbs has been KO'd in each of his losses, early I think. Maybe one was a loss or a TKO. I saw his Daniel Edward (or Eduard) fight and although he was probably at his very best there he went out early.

I also saw the Lee-Vera fight and Lee seemed VERY amateurish and nervous. He really seemed as if he didn't know what to do. well over-hyped, at least by his up-to-date showings.

            Just /my opinion

Wow! What's with all the hate? Emanuel Steward and "Uncle Tom"? WTF????

                    Lee is "garbage"?

Let me guess: You guys are ******* that are intimidated by successful people and have never actually stepped in a ring to battle another man in combat. Go ahead and look into your tortured souls and give me a REAL answer.

Andy Lee has a loss and needs to improve and Emanuel has made some mistakes. So where is the crime, losers?
