    Ok

    1. Why didn't RJJ fight Tarver and then move up to H.W to face Ruiz??

    2. As crazy as it soundz...Why didn't RJJ try and get a fight with Lewis, Itz a win win situation. What was there to lose??

    That will be all

      1. Timing was right, he was able to get the HW fight at that time... but i woulda preffered he fought tarver 1st when he was fresh, tarver wouldnt of had a chance... well, maybe a chance...

      2. lewis was just too big IMO... its possible roy could do his potshotting for 12 rounds... but...

The offer to fight Ruiz was on the table. Can't pass up on that.

His life? Wasn't that why so many picked Ruiz to win? because he was far bigger? Lewis was far bigger than Ruiz and would've outweighed him by about 50lbs. A bit much. But I think it's a testament to Jones' perceived dominance at the time--so much so that people actually envisioned such a fight.

          1. more money and prestige fighting for a wba heavyweight title.

          2. i'm sure it was talked about. there was talk of roy jones vs. buster douglas in the 90's.

btw tarver was suppose to get a title shot before this time. tarver lost in the eliminator and roy fought the winner instead. blame tarver for losing. roy wasn't ducking him. who the **** was tarver before he beat a shot roy?

it takes the greatest british heavyweight to beat a great american light heavyweight who is more a natural middleweight.

Honestly, I don't see RJJ beating Lewis but that is a win win situation...you don't pass that up. People letz all be serious, Imagine what a win over Lewis could have done for RJJ's legacy...on top of that Keyword: win win situation
