Vic Darchinyan (30-1-1, 24 KOs) and Christian Mijares (35-3-2, 13 KOs) clash this Saturday, Nov. 1, in the main event on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING (9 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the west coast). In a battle of promising, world-ranked super middleweights, Andre Dirrrell (16-0, 11 KOs) faces Victor Oganov (28-1, 28 KOs) in the 10-round co-feature on SHOWTIME.

The first live fight is 4 p.m. PT. Doors open at 3.

Tickets, priced at $25 to $250, are on sale at The Home Depot Center Box Office, open 10 a.m-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, all Ticketmaster retail ticket locations, online at www.Ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster-Charge-by-Phone (213-480-3232). Mijares seems to have boxing skills to deal with a puncher, and should manage to win most of the rounds.
People seem awfully convinced of his dominance in the division, I havent seen enough to say for sure, this fight might help me get off of the fence.

i think its messed up about article saying,not undisputed yet,this is to me for real,i know montiel is considered the best,to some,i think mijares should be ranked #1,but vic beatinig kirilov should makes this for the undisputed championship in my opinion

i think mijares should be able to get the win by outboxing the fundamentally flawed vic. but vic always has the punchers chance, but mijares may be too good to get in a dangerous situation with vic.
