    He'd be an entertaining contender/fringe contender, very popular with the fans, but his career would most likely have been shorter (in years).

      i don't think he would'a been brain dead, i mean if he was "raised" in the 20's-50's, he'd be raised like a stallion, i mean all the club fighters were much more powerful "blow by blow" wise, which mostly was because of the way they lived, like blacksmithing? that job doesnt even exist anymore.

        One a don't think Gatti had rock solid chin, two yes fighters were techinal in 20's from 50's etc Tunney,Robinson, Flowers,Charles.It hards to compare era's but I think Gatti would of been excting in those days but wound't of done very well maybe a fringe contender. Especailly with day of weigh in.
