how could you say that. Tito beat DLD in his prime, in a great fight, which i had Tito winning, and so did the judges.

Oscar De La Hoya has more courage and guts than all other fighters. I think the only person who could possibly beat Oscar De La Hoya is Hopkins. I still feel Oscar De La Hoya was not used to fighting in his new weight class. He is a much better boxer than everyone else. Hopkins knows that Oscar De La Hoya is a better boxer than he is. This is why his only strategy was to wait until De La Hoya got tired. If Hopkins felt he was better than Oscar De La Hoya, he would have tried to knock him out immediately.

I think they would both beat Oscar. Tito by dec, Mayorga by KO. Right now, I don't think Oscar is going to be the same figher he has been.
I'd like to see both fights before Oscar retires.
If Mayorga beats Tito I'd like to see him fight Hopkins first because I worry about his age, then DLH.

Hopkins didn't wait until De La Hoya got tired, he waited until De La Hoya got comfortable. If you stray away from a game-plan what is designed to be used since the beginning of the fight, when the going gets tough in the middle or later rounds of the fight, you can't expect to be able to have the ability to go back to the original plan. I believe Hopkins could have won the fight any way you slice it...whether it would have been a brawl or not.

IMO, he did enough to win the fight. Should he have ran? Definately no, but regardless, he won in my cards by at 2 rounds.

IMO, Trinidad fought better than DLH against Hopkins. And Hopkins a few years back is maybe better than Hopkins today. And as for Mayorga, well he has more power than DLH, but Spinks got into Mayorga's head with his speed. But then again, DLH doesn't have that same speed he had on the lighter divisions. So I guess this bout (DLH-Mayorga) is one of those that's hard to predict what to expect till you actually see it.
