Hmmm, yes, like many here I would 'definitely' vote Lewis in, but Hamed not so much. He had a good run, but when he came up against the only prime, current, good champ he fought he lost horribly and quit boxing altogether. When you have other guys in there like Yuh, Chang, Marcel, Curry, ... hmm, can't remember who else in nominated, but there are many guys that have had better runs.
Ernesto Marcel was a great featherweight champ who fought everyone from Duran to Arguello. Admittedly he was knocked out by Duran, but, that was his only ever bad (KO) loss (one of his few losses altogether) and he retired as the featherweight champ with a massive victory over a prime Arguello and very nearly knocked him out. One of only two people to beat a prime Arguello (not counting Pryor as having fought a prime Arguello). It was a great fight.
Yuh and Chang had very long title runs, but I personally don't really think they fought that good fighters for the majority of their title matches. Still, they were very good. Curry of course was a brilliant fighter in the WW, LMW and MW divisions. There are many great fighters in there though. Lewis is 'definitely' in.

Lewis, "definitely".
Hamed, maybe. His achievements often get overlooked. The featherweight division wasn't especially strong, but for what it's worth, he defeated the beltholders of the WBC, WBA (Vasquez was stripped like a week before I think), IBF, and WBO and was the top featherweight in the world for 4-5 years.
That's no small achievement and more than what others who are in Canastota (and who eventually will get in) have done.
