It is crazy. Getting outjabbed doesn't count for **** when Marquez was landing many combonations and outlanding him. Barrera had a very good jab, but he didn't do much other then that. He had won 3 of the first 6 rounds, but other then that he did **** except for the knockdown which would have been 9-9 anyway because Barrera was getting his ass kicked that round and then it would have been a point deduction. You don't score 10-8 if it's that drastic. Even if it was a 9-8/10-8 it wouldn't have mattered.


Marquez landed a lot of shots and I couldn't believe the copubox numbers for that fight. No way did Barrera land that many punches up to 9. Barrera was competitve with Marquez especially for the first 6 rounds, but he was clearly losing the last 6 rounds and even humilated in 2 of them.

I don't know what fight you were watching but I guess we'll have to agree to disagree but this is what I saw

Marquez NEVER landed a combination without getting hit with one himself. The Jab matterz and JMM was OUTJABED and that shouldn't be ignored. Also Marquez did NOT win the round he got dropped in.

I refuse to watch the fight again. I seen it 5-6 timez and had MAB winning all of em...How people tend to think it isn't an either way fight is beyond me.
