Will You Consider De La Hoya PFP #1 If He Beats Pacquaio?

Since you guys are so fascinated with linear status, then yes, by virtue of beating the man who was the man, DLH becomes the linear P4P king. OK I voted noComment

i wouldnt consider him p4p best...he's get back on the top 10 p4p list...but not be THEE p4p champ...
for me to consider him p4p best he'd have to beat not only pac...but win a rematch with floyd...and MAYBE beat the winner of margarito/cotto rematch...it matters on how good he looks in wins over pac and floyd for me to decide if he needs to beat the winner of margarito/cotto rematch.
i know what some might be thinking...
"what if floyd doesnt come out of retirement...and what if margarito/cotto II doesnt happen???"
if oscar beats pac im pretty sure floyd would come back to cash in on another huge payday because by oscar beating pacquaio it give oscar and floyd another reason to say they need to rematch...
and based on how close the first margarito/cotto fight was and how exciting it was i think its just a matter of time before it happens for a second time...most likely at the end of 2009...Comment
