winky my man, this is a ****ing travesty.why? why fight some guy that got sparked by a prospect?

Because he lost his last fight, and that was over a year ago. Winky probably spent the last year or so eating donuts and playing video games, not a smart move for a 36 year old pro boxer. Honestly, Winky probably let go of whatever chance he had at making another run, spending all that time away from the ring.
Obviously old and fat Winky can still whip this nobody, but I dont see him winning another big fight.

165 is not bad for Winky. 5 lbs over MW after being off for 18 months is not bad. He better get the KO and not go the distance. If it goes the distance, then no one will be in a rush to watch him fight again. Look what it did for Clottey. He was hot when he lost to Margs, but 2 lackluster performances on Versus and no one cares about him now. Wonder what Versus' budget is for boxing?
