Slickwalt, didn't you know that the Pacman went into the fight with Diaz weighing 147? This was pointed out to me and he wasn't slow nor weak. JATif pacman comes in over 143 the fight won't last long. i still can't figure out why fighters bulk up to their opponents, when there speed is the biggest asset they have. he will negate his speed if he comes in too heavy. additional weight conflicts with your rythym and coordination i.e pavlik... my opinion he should come at 140-142.

Manny pants pockets full of money, will only cause them to sag...maybe too much.
INTERESTING (although not really) that the ****roach is reported as having said that hec wants Pacquiao to "come in at 147"................Only just te other day, I read that he wanted Manny to come in at abou 143-4.
So.......Who knows?? We still have a lightweight, who began at Flyweight, going against a Super-Middleweight, who began at Super-Feather, but has been at the heavier weights for YEARS, even winning a Middleweight Title, and still ranked as the No.1 Super-Middle, both in the U.S and the World..............So............
I read somewhere that Manny hopes, after this fight -which should net him about $25 mill- will bring him into that heady company of being the 40th richest man in the Phillippines. I think that the arithmetic is wrong, since the article also mentioned the many very high-paying fights he;s already had. (in this matter we should accept the fact that Bob Arum has done very well for Manny, as he did for Oscar and many other fighters he promoted-far better in fact than anything that the Golden Balls or Don King can show).
As for this fight with Oscar since Manny has a ton more money than he'll ever be able to lose playing billiards, he should have taken an example from that fighter, who later became a very well-known manager. In his early days as a youg fighter and trying to pick up a few dollars, contracted to fight "Terrible" Terry McGovern for $100. McGovwern was on a Western States swing fighting everybody and anybody, the local champs etc. almost weekly. So this guy, ***ish, who's name I forget right now, happened to go to see McGovern in the fight shortly before HE was to fight him .
He saw McGovern almost kill his hapless opponent ...........He quit boxing right there and then, saying......." You want I should get killed for $10......?? Am I crazy?? I already have a hundred dollars, I quit"
I thought at first that it was "Yussel the Mussel" meaning Joe Jacobs, Schmeling's manager, but although it would be just the sort of thing he'd say, he would have been far too young, so I'll just have to hope that someone out there sees this letter and knows who it was.
Yussel was famous for another saying when he blurted out into the microphone after a fight that Schmeling lost, "We wuz Robbed"..........

The sign..I was at WILDCARD one day last week and the sign on the door is big enough to see from a good distance away...it basically says MANNY TRAINS 1-4, SO STAY OUT!!! LOL People really should leave fighters alone when they are training...even though they mean well usually it is a big distraction, espeially day after day...Comment

This sparring session will be a good one for both fighter, they will learn a lot in terms of boxing. Pacman will adjust better strategies to pit wiht ODLH, then Khan will experience some fast and skilled fighter to sharpen his quickness and defense.Comment

At least if Khan finds out he cant compete on the higher level because of his chin, hes found the perfect job, the elite sparring partner...he can have his chin protected by headgear and offer world class hand speed, power and boxing skillsComment
