just watched the replay of that fight on espn classic.. i think clottey may have beaten antonio if he hadnt of hurt his hand.. definitely thought he deserved a rematch either way.. that was a really good fight and could have been even better if clottey hadnt of hurt his hand.. exciting fight

i really wish people would just give margo the win already...hurt hands happen in fights. it is nothing new. not to mention the fact that margo had injuries also. i won't go into all that though, you all know margo hurt his hand too right?

anyway, it was a good fight, and clotty is my second favorite fighter at welter, but enough with the hand...it is no excuse.

i dont think margarito won this fight, i actually had it a draw. he got the decision being current champion. and injuries coming into a fight are different then injuries acquired in the fight. some ppl even had clottey winning 7-5

margo hurt his hand in the fight. the ankle and wrist were the ones he came in with.

but that is your opinion, and i respect it. i saw margo out work him for a win.

7-5 margo. first four for clotty. all the rest for margo, except the 12th.
could have been and even round in there somewhere, but it has been a while since i have seen the fight. seen it three times, but not recently.

i would have to watch it again, and maybe i would have a different take on it. that is a big if though. when i do, i will make a thread about it, and the debate may be different.

the three times i saw the fight, i scored it all the same way. like i said though, i will have to take a fresh look at it.
