There's some pretty wealthy Filipinos out there. Former 1st lady Immelda Marcos had the world's biggest designer shoe collection at 1point in the late 80s

People hate it when other succeede, its in our selfish nature. There will always be haters no matter what you do or how great you become. My hats off to Pac man, he worked hard and he has had a hard life, he deserves that title of the richest man in his country.

I'm not an expert on the Philippines, but at least I have been there.

The majority of people live in abject poverty in the Philippines. It's probably something you could never imagine unless you had visited a third world country. Nevertheless the people are well-educated, proud and patriotic. It is not a '**** hole', it's a stunning beautiful and historic country that has been mismanaged through corrupt governments and interference from foreign powers.

Get some education before making your ******ed, ill-informed observations.

                Manny's Rich,So what?

So be it: Manny is rich, so what? He deserves every penny he earned in his boxing career. He's been honest and worked hard to get all his wealth, unlike some politicians who enriched themselves while in office. After retiring from boxing, Manny could run for public office and really do his best to uplift the condition of his constituents. Not only that, if he becomes President of the Philippines, now he could help tremendously to improve the image of the country, just like what he did in boxing. Manny will be very wealthy that could own an island in the Visayas or Mindanao and call it "Pacquiao Paradise Resort" for future Filipino boxing greats!
