Hopkins was supposed to attend a Cancer society meeting at the request of Ring Magazine, but after he lost to Taylor, he basically told the ring magazine:

wow...touching story. good to see that at least bernard gave some happiness to the boys life in the end. very good for hopkins.

Very sad indeed you can say what you want about Hopkins, he has had his dry moments but this is touching. Everyone has moments were they look emotionless but this shows that Hopkins has a good heart. I got chocked up reading this. RIP
