Ali is obvious, but you could have at least added 'other' and 'Prince Naseem' to that list. What the **** is Mayweather doing there, he is good but far from an icon. Even Fatty who he exposed drew biogger crowds than him.

Why the hell is Mayweather Jr on the list? He never even hit mainstream popularity apart from the ridiculous wrestling thing, even then it was forgotten who he was ten minutes later. Hoya is about the only guy you could put on that list from the recent era. There are a few missing, but really, it's got to be Ali. No question. Tyson, Louis etc come up short still.

Well he still does it all through boxing and by actually fighting, so he is still this era's prominent boxing icon.

Boxing icon? Mayweather shouldn't be there for sure.

The only 2 out of that lot people who have no interest in boxing would have heard is Tyson and Ali. I think Ali wins hands down however.
