The thing is it is hard to gauge how much Kessler learnt from that fight because since he has restricted himself to fighting his mates from the pub. We will only find out if he learned anything from that loss when he gets back in there with a qualiy guy.Comment

No he doesn't. Only time he fought someone again pretty much, was a mandatory and he didn't want to do it. He knocked him out again.
Kessler may do a little better against Calzaghe in a rematch but not much better, Calzaghe is clearly the superior fighter. It took Calzaghe a few rounds to adapt to him in the process losing a few, next time he probably wouldn't even lose those being more used to Kessler, so whose to say he wouldn't win a wider UD?
Calzaghe certainly has far more elements and adaptability to his game, so if Kessler catches up with that one stance type tactic Calzaghe imposed on him, he'll have another one or two in another fight, he'll always be playing catch up.
I'd give him a fair chance against Hopkins but still favour Hops. I'd favour him over Jones and most other guys though.Comment
