          I forgot to add this to my earlier post, 2 unification fights in 1 year doesn't happen very often, Mijares will have 2 by the end of the year against Munoz and Darchinyan.

              i guess i will have to break the trend and put Margarito on this list.

              this is the first time in his career that he has taken this much time off(not do to injury).

              he fought clotty, pw, GJ(i know that doesn't count), cintron, and then cotto, in that order. one big fight after another.

              he is on that list.

                Yeah, especially when you look at his career over all. The last five years or so the guy has gotten in there with a lot of people.
                I think Williams is really a cake taker, though. He is literally willing to fight anybody in a three weight class range, not many guys can say that.

                  hell, not many guys can do that!...he gets respect. but i thought it said stay active in big name fights?... margo has stayed active in big name fights.
