    Hopkins-Pavlik Does under 200k Buys

Yeah those are the numbers that ******************'s John Chavez was able to come up with.

I honestly thought it would do 225k buys.

But under 200k buys that is just horse ****

Damn, is that seriously an accurate number? That's reeally low, I figured both guys were big enough names that they'd generate decent numbers.

      LOL

You think Cotto - Margarito would do any better, sole reason why they won't release the numbers. Golden Boys always release their numbers but not Arum when numbers are shocking

well i guess pacquiao-diaz didn't do too bad in comparison.

the economy is real bad right now. people don't want to spend $50-60 on ppv.

i wonder how joe-roy will do......

I'd also expect people thinking it is not fair to pay for ppv, when were already paying for hbo and showtime... And also most people including me do not like to pay money for sports, since sports like football, boxing, and hockey should be free.

A lot of people had Hopkins getting wiped out in this fight, and with his previous bout with Cal it may have had a big effect on interest against Pavlik.
