I just seen 24/7 and credit to hbo, they are doing a great job with Cal&Roy 24/7. And this time at least in the first episode i learned more about Calzaghe and really seemed like a cool person. Calzaghe seems hungry for this victory and thats a great sign for Champion that has an undefeated record he still has the hunger.
And one thing about Roy, i really disagreed with him on some things he said. One thing especially that stood out was where he said, "everybody wanted me to be a killer, so i turned into this killer.' ????? I was think wtf, when did this happened Roy? I know he was a killer from middleweight to super middleweight but shortly after light heavyweight he lost the will to be a killer, he started respecting his opponents and allowing them to go 12 with him instead of knocking them out. He was no killer that he talks about, he didn't fight some fighters as a killer should have. Roy still is full of himself, still confident, thats good. Im surprised he still has his speed he is still very fast but lets see how fast he is in the ring, we've seen fighter have fast hands in training then they don't use it in a real fight.
The way both look from the video, Calzaghe looks unstoppable so far, and he has the mind set of a Champion. I hope he pulls through and wins as he should. But one thing that worries me about Roy is his power, i think Calzaghe can deal with Roys speed, cause Cal has some speed of his own that Roy will play a lot of defence against Cal. If this fight turns out to be as good as the Trinidad fight i'll be happy, if Cal stops Roy early, i'll be happy, just want to see a good fight. Calzaghes been around since Roys been around a fight too late but still a very important fight.Comment

Why feel sorry for Roy, no need too, he had his glass slipper taken away from him like every great did at the cinderalla ball. Its Roys fault alone if he feel incomplete, that guy really had it all to be known as the bet or one of the atb, but what hurt him was his demeanor. He allowed too many unworthy fighters to go the distance with him and didn't fight some fighters that could possably have challaged him in his prime. Roys got enough money, to retire and has done great in his career no need to be sorry for Roy, hate to say it but he did it to himself if he feels he ****ed up in his career. Which i dont know why he would feel bad he made the choices in his career.Comment

yes, you are totally right.
but its good that he knows that he is not what he used to be, he knows his limitations now and is very motivated to show that after falling that hard, he can rise from the dead and show everybody what kind of man he is.
i hope that even if roy jones loses, he is satisfied with his performance on that fight.Comment

It sucks watchin one of your boxing hero's fall apart. I ain't worried about him gettin KO'd in this fight tho, cuz Joe C ain't got the pop to do that. But I do think Roy woulda handled Zag wit ease in his prime, so if he loses or even struggles to win it'll be sad to see. I think he can get a close decision tho. I agree wit those who said he's hungry to fight again.Comment
