      probably because catholicism is the biggest religious group in the world. Not sure if Islam has taken over yet. But I know around 1.1 billion are catholic.

            And remember there is 1.1 billion Catholics on 7 continents, it should remind you of God's generosity and glory. What if he had only saved say the French and Irish?

              Well thats sound god comes before everything else or whatever religion but at the end of the day boxing is sport not religion dont see why god should be brought into it but everybody has there opinions

                im out of here do know why your bringing up stuff from our past i thought you'd be proud of your Irish back ground & the medals we won at the olmypics & the fighters we're producing but i wont hold anything against you

                  I am very proud. I take great pride in my Irish heritage and to be honest with you I've just learned now that Ireland won these medals and I'm very very glad. salute to you my brother.

                    God is in it because you belong to God your character and spirit and soul is shaped by him in an absolute eternal way that matters not what anybody thinks about it and I'm trying to highlight this fact.

                      Sound man we won 3 got 2 bronze & a silver its my feeling that we got robbed of 1 gold Kenny Egan hit & tagged the Chinese boxer more & better but the judges were pushing the button for the host country maybe they should have thought we're a small nation & if we won gold it would be something & the last time we won gold was 1992 it boxing was sport it was won in if you dont already know.
                      At that point China had won 50 golds but we'll take as comes but Ken Egan was robbed
