    That doesnt make much sense.

So Calzaghe has been hurt and the ref stopped the other guy?

    Right.

I believe he means that the ref saved The Schnell's bacon.

Remember that? "Nein! Nein! Ick bon! My body hurtzzz, this iz not happening, ve vill vin ze voar!" then the ref jumps in to tell The Blow off for a rabbit.

As for the Q, I dunno. Taylor's stamina is crap though. It's like Shannon Briggs being butt****ed by Audley Harrison while De La Hoya films it.

What fight were you watching? I remember seeing Calzaghe outpoint him, I don't recall where he nearly stopped him.
I think he is refering to Kessler being hurt by a body shot in one of the later rounds, I think round 9 or 10.

I think Kessler would take it, but if Taylor is fired up and fights how he did in the 2nd Pavlik fight I think he would make it very close.

Some of you might laugh at me but I believe Taylor would be 10x better if he stops fucking fidgeting so damn much, this guy wastes so much movement, it's sickening.

Taylor also does this thing with his left hand, where he brings it up and kinda taps his forehead. More or less the same movement Christians do in church, where they tap their forehead, chest, left part of chest and end it by tapping the right side of their chest (same shape as a cross). This just seems like a bad habit that hinders his performance (blocks his view and leaves himself open for a split second)
Haha, right on about Taylor's ticks. He has always had a problem relaxing in the ring, visible through his unnecessarly arm movements, and I think it affects his breathing also. This definitely does not help his stamina issues.

I think we might see an improvement in his stamina at 168 though, since he won't be cutting as much weight before fights.

As for who wins a Kessler/Taylor matchup, this poll makes more sense 3 weeks from now after we see Taylor at his first 168 lb fight, against a somewhat live Lacy, after his 9 month layoff and the two soul-searching losses to Pavlik. I definitely see Jermain as the variable in this fight - he has all the skills and ability to beat Kessler, it's just a matter of whether he can put them all together for once.

I might be alone in thinking Taylor is the more talented guy.

I think they might both lack it a little bit between the ears to be real great fighters. Taylor by decision or he gets KTFO. Sitting on the fence sweetly, on this one.

I was actually thinking about this fight yesterday. It'd be a good fight, and I think if Taylor comes in focused and in shape, than he can take it.

I say Taylor ! I don't think he's as bad as people might think ! Kessler ins't no Pavlik ! Pavlik ins't as bad as he looked against Hopkins ! Styles makes fights and Kessler don't hit as hard as Pavlik ! I think Kessler is an overrated European ! So I go with Taylor ! Which I think Taylor will beat Lacy !

Kessler is a lot better than Pavlik.

I have absolutely no idea how Pavlik managed to beat Taylor twice, no idea whatsoever.

Pavlik isn't as bad as he looked against Hopkins, but they are both straight punches and Kessler has the greater handspeed and footwork. Though Pavlik could hurt Kessler to the body.

This is about where I'm at. If Taylor comes to play, he wins a 2-3 round UD. If not, I can see him getting KO'd. Awaiting his performance in the Lacy fight to see what the future might bring for him.

And I definitely think he's the more talented guy. They just need to put him on Ativan or something.
