Nobody here is making any excuses for Rahman or trying to make him look any better then he is, which is a late replacement, stay busy fight for Wlad.
      Nothing more, but nothing less.

No excuses either, that area is left for Haye fans.

Its you thats bother about some elses big-mouth not anyone else, He didnt take 7 months off like you're trying to indictate, He fought in march and had to get his body ready and fit enough for the HW which anybody that knows boxing would tell you takes time thats why he wanted to fight in November.

You telling me you're not making any excuses then you try telling us a rahman fight would be a "late replacement" even though we're still in october and the fight is suppose to be mid-december, So why doesnt Wlad pick on the dimitrenko, chapman or chambers that you guys were throwing around at Haye??? Why does he(The MAN) at HW have to pick on Rahman?? The same person that he called a top ten ranked fighter...

You are contradicting yourself, from march to november is around 8-9 months.
Whatever reason he took them off is an excuse.
As for "late replacement", there is nothing of an excuse here, in upper echelones of boxings it takes at least 3 months to prepare for a big fight(hey, it takes your boy a whole 8 to prepare for a minor one), which includes promotion, correlation of contract terms, preparing an arena, training, etc... When you have only two months(or one and a half in our case) to find an opponent, negotiate, promote and train for him it is a late replacement. The logic is as simple as that. It is not your ham and egg fighters who can pick up a trucker from a local bar and call him a "late replacement", finding someone with a name in a very limited timeframe is a tricky business.
As for Dmitrenko(not Dimitrenko as many of you mistakengly think) Chapman or Chambers, only two of the three guys are even ranked, and there is really not much of a difference in class between all the four fighters mentioned.
And I am pretty sure these options are also look at, however, out of these 4 , Rahman by far got the biggest name.

Exactly..so basically its okay now for Wlad to fight Rahman because he has a bigger name(something i agree with), But it wasnt okay for Haye to fight him because he has a big-mouth and took 7 or 8 months off whichever one suits you?

Again i respect Wlad and do not have a problem with him fighting Rahman or whoever he choose to fight, But its funny and makes him look bad when poeple like you on here ridicule the same guy Wlad is now looking at Replacement or no replacement..:

First of all, I was not the one to ridicule Haye for picking Rahman(neither was the majority) as a tune up opponent, however, the difference lies in the fact that Wlad has a month and a half to find "someone" and Haye had 8 months.
Haye was laughed at for talking big game and then flunking 3 or 4 different fighters and finally making his choise in Barrett.

Then there was also the fact that Toney called Haye out as well.

Am glad to hear that you're not one of those people, I dont mind if a fighter talks big or talks himself up thats boxing for you, Haye had enough time to go over who he wants to fight and thats good for him.

I just didnt agree with the same people who were critising Haye at that time for "exploring" the possibilty of fighting Rahman and now those same people are staying silent on the Wlad "exploring" rahman subject.

I never said Rahman was a bad choice to fight Haye. I did say Maskeav, older and now more shot than Rahman, would be a weak choice. And if Wlad chose Maskaev now, I would be disappointed.

I did think it was ridiculous when Haye, after all his boasting, ducked unproven Kevin Johnson and tried instead to get an easy match with clubfighter JD Chapman.

Rahman's jab is very strong, I think he might be able to back Wladimir up with it. If nothing else Rahman is very physically strong and I think this would wind up being a very interesting fight.
