    Bogus fight.
    I would rather have them choose a guy with some boxing skill left in James Toney...

        BS. Wlad-Dimitrenko makes the most sense right now. he's the next mandatory for 2 of his belts anyway.

            Is this supposed to be a snide remark, or are you being serious. The way I TAKE IT, you are intimating that Klitschko would pull out of any fight that he might be worried about;
            which is suggesting that there actually ARE some fighters around weho could beat him.

            If you can tell me of a single fighter in the world today who had a 50-50 chance of beating Klitschko Please Do. As for Rahman, he had NO chance.

                Dimentreko is the fight he should take assuming Valuev can't make it. He makes for the most competitive fight and is a mandatory anyway. If that can't happen, whether Dimentreko declines for any reason (training time, not ready developmentally, etc), then he should look to Toney. I don't know if Toney accepts on short notice though since he still thinks he has a future where this could happen again and give him a full training schedule. For all we know Toney could be 275 right now afterall. That fat Toney we see in fights is post-training, not before; it IS the sculpted Toney. If those two fall out, if Valuev (or Arreola, who would come in fourth in my running) can't be talked out of their dates, then all things considered Rahman is a good fight. What are Wlad and his people supposed to do? Povektin dropped out a month and a half before the fight. They might not have a better option and HBO can sell it on Rahman's huge upset in the past.

                  Sad Shape

                  I'll tell ya, the heavyweight division is in sorry ass shape if these are the best the division can throw at Wladimir. Rahman? Are you serious? The guy who quits on his stool is going to be fighting the Champion? Toney is to old, shot, and slow to be taken seriously and I can't believe we're going to have to suffer through a fight featuring any of these guys. I like watching Klitschko fights but the competition is so soft right now it's just not exciting. This is a prime example of why I'm a Haye supporter.

                  I wish Dimitrenko or Arreola would cancel their other fights to take on Klitschko. At least they're considered up and coming prospects. All the other names on the list of possible opponents is full of has been's and shot fighters. If it wasn't for damn boxing politics we'd be watching Klitschko vs. Valuev in December instead of this trash. Poor Wlad.....
