it was a truly amazing fight...

granted the ending was a bit anti-climatic but it was more than worth $50...

and its more than worth $50 to see it again.

i really hope cotto v. margarito II happens...it would be one of if not THEE best fight that could be made for 2009 hands down.

yeaaa I was gonna start a thread like this. Instead of fans of each bitching, and others callin Margo a coward for not fighting Williams and Cotto for taking a knee, lets understand that these two are what boxings about. They put on a great show and embody the sport as good as anyone.

        Margarito vs Cotto

Its a fight I didn't give a flying **** about the undercard. I knew it was going to be an amazing fight & the 2nd one is going to top it. I paid for it once and would sure as hell do it again.

speaking of which...I forgot who the hell fought on that damn undercard!..lol

it was a sad ending for a Cotto fan like myself..but I've been a boxing fan before becoming a Cotto fan and that was a hell of show they both put on!..first $60 I ever HAPPILY spent and didn't regret!..lol..

Cotto-Margarito II will be just as good if not better wit of course the different outcome..my boy coming out victorious and setting up for a rubber match!..Muahahaha!..

This is actually my choice as the best welterweight fight ever (or that I've seen in its entirety). Never saw all of Basilio-Demarco I. Leonard-Duran I was great, but Cotto-Margarito lacked the clinching, which often marred Duran-Leonard 1, in my opinion. Leonard-Hearns I had amazing skill level and shifts in momentum, but for sustained action, it wasn't really all that good. Much of it was a chess match without steady action.
