I guess. He still took a lot of punishment on those ropes by Foreman, but he had an amazing chin.

Oh and I'm a ****ing idiot. I meant Locche, not Cervantes. I mixed them up because they had fought each other.

edit: Cristian Mijares is very good defensively too. People say he gets hit to much for a boxer which I don't understand. I mean Kawashima and somewhat Navarro got to him, but he has very good defense otherwise.

I've never seen Willie Pep fight cos he's not in my era.

However I've said this before, and I chose Mayweather over Sweet Pea because he has better counterpunching. I feel that counterpunching has to be somewhat lumped in together with defense. Floyd punished fighters for their mistakes better than Sweet Pea did.

His defense really shines in the Munoz fight. It took him about 4-5 rounds to adjust to Munoz's style (doesn't mean he was getting hit that often, nor was he losing rounds), but after that he made Munoz miss so much and made him pay.

His swaying movement with his upperbody in that fight was insane. Pretty much everything Munoz threw missed in the later rounds.
