whoever refereed Benn vs. McClellan and also Benn vs. Barkley.

Benn never would have been worth a **** had he been forced to box instead of illegally striking his opponents over and over again.

Didnt realise brutally KOing your opponents with head shots was illegal. But each to their own.

Benn was hitting McClellan with a lot of rabbit punches. I recall a direct, deliberate hard one towards the end that may have done the damage.

Rabbit punches are illegal because people can suffer brain damage or even die from a blow to the base of the spine at the center of the back of the head. The ref just gave Benn one warning, he could have done more.

If you don't count Reid kicking Ottke's ass and then not getting the decision, sure, it's not.

Add the KD being discounted, and the warnings/point deduction for Reid punching Ottke, the crazy bastard.

McClellan hit Benn in the back of the head a lot too. But no one focuses on that.

A lot of Benns shots were wild swinging hooks which just happened to hit McClellan on the back of the head as he ducked or avoided them. Attributing McClellans condition to Benn is extremely ignorant

Even the British commentators said it was a close fight.

                    Nah....the winner is the Coggi-Gonzalez 1 referee.

That was equally bad, or probably even worse, than Jack Welch lifting Ad Wolgast from the canvas.

The ref got banned for life for his disgraceful behavior in Coggi-Gonzalez I, and justifiably, IMO.

I've heard something about Ad Wolgast, but I don't remember.
