Low blows and rabbit punches were about all Kelly could land.

Actually Pavlik tried, he did like the effort but without any power in the lowblows, but yeah Jack Lowe was constantly telling Pavlik to hit him low because that's what Calzaghe did.

Nah, he tried to. Loew told him to hit him in the nuts but he gave them a gentle tap

Yeah, Pavlik was uncharacteristically dirty in the fight with B-Hop. Ironic.

pavlik also was hitting him low in the 4th before loew gave his "touch his nuts" comments. they really looked sleazy and weak from the corner coverage. they kept whispering to each other to not look bad on tv, especially after the 7th when pavlik had gotten his ass beat particularly bad.

he came back to the corner, let out to gasps for air (like an over-exerted hippo) spit out his mouthpiece and whispered words of self-doubt to jack loew away from the camera, who could only tell him to "get off his punches" in response. great strategy!
