Listen to all the haters get on this thread & try to discredit a great fighter like Floyd claiming he beat an old Oscar. They will never say anything in there post about Floyd only being 4 years younger than Oscar or the fact that Floyd was moving up to 154 for the 1st time. A full 24 pounds from where he started pro at. A lot of these people are the same ones who would have been hating on Joe Louis, Ray Robinson, Ali, etc when they were fighting.

It weould be a struggle to actually fight all those fights (eight), but, all the fighters Mayweather actually fought at 130 would also be easily beaten by Oscar. Yes, Oscar only fought a few fights there really, but, the competition was not exactly that far apart.

Oscar did only have those couple of fights at SFW but he fought quite a number of his lightweight fights well under the LW limit. I think he could have made SFW for around 8-10 fights with the competition that Mayweather had there. Saying that though, we'll never know. It may have effected him more than we think.

But who was in Mayweather's record is a better boxer than any of the guys that Oscar fought? There is no one. Mosley in his prime is by far a much greater fighter/boxer than anyone in Mayweather's and their second is very arguable. Also Oscar was himself a boxer with very good movement etc at the lower weights he fought at. You could make an argument that for every great fighter Mayweather fought Oscar fought someone that had a very similar style but was actually a lot better in every respect. Judah: Mosley, Corrales: Tito, and while I understand that he lost those they were honestly a bit BS (if Oscar were Mayweather he would have gotten those decisions), Castillo: Gonzales/Castillejo/Chavez, blah blah blah. I'm sure you see what I mean and while it is not ever going to be perfect and you could argue about that until blue in the face, in general Oscar faced a much higher level of competition throughout his career.

The other thing you can look at (thought it is a very small thing) is that Oscar faced a couple of common opponents of Mayweather though when they were in their prime compared to when Floyd fought them. Hernandez and Gatti both fought Mayweather. Oscar knocked Gatti out in five and Hernandez' corner stopped it in the sixth. I believe both were around 99/00, which was only a couple of years after Mayweather actually turned pro.

Im not fighting to prove to the fans whos the best.

          Educate yourself moron.

gatti, judah, baldo and a shot DLH.

Now I know Americans love cowards but in my book a resume like that doesn't exactly fit into a HOF status.

But then again ignorant morons prefer cowards over dignified champs.

Castillo was great and one of my all time favs and he goes to the HOF but Oscar does him like Castillejo.

Corrales would be an easy fight for Oscar and would end up being like the first Chavez fight me thinks.

Oscar would do Hatton like Gatti.

He'd outbox Baldomir to a boring wide decision just like Floyd.

He'd struggle a little bit but win extremely clearly against Augustus/Burton.

and Judah? Yeah right. Oscar stops him within 3.
            Exactly.

These morons without brains who call themselves gayweather fans... more like ***-lovers to me... Gayweather's resume are full of crap competition and these morons have the idiocy to argue that Gayweather this and that...

I know some people lack common sense..

But please.... this isn't funny gayweather ****** fans.

                  Casa lost to JMM
Kostya lost to Hatton and Phillips (in his fucking prime) and was past his prime when Mayweather was around 140
Spafa who the fuck is he
Cotto was offered a fight at 140 that said no and ducked Mayweather
Mosley sore tooth stopped him fighting Mayweather
Margarito offer was made by Arum when Mayweather was suing his ass, why would he sign to fight Margarito
Williams was not a threat until he beat Margarito and after Cotto lost to Margarito

God short midget people should be banned having babies they create 28 year old men who are 5'3 and weight in around 115 pounds

you were a Cotto fan before Marg beat him the next day you make a GIF of his wife a kid crying and start bigging up Margarito the guy you were rooting against
