Well any of them would be better than his last to fights, who is it he fought again lol. He should move to the US, good fighter, needs to "get out more".

I like Kessler alot, but if he fights another bum then it might be over for him. His name will get lost in the boxing world and he will never live to his potential.
Thats bull**** if theres another mandatory, Kessler should say **** the belts if thats the case, ridiculous.

      Agreed again.

But take a look at the WBA rankings. It's a who's who of nobodies. A complete joke:

      1. Danilo Haussler
      2. Gusmyl Perdoma
      3. Jean Pascal
      4. Stjepan Bozic
      5. Karo Murat
      6. Dimitri Sartison
      7. Mads Larsen
      8. Lukas Wilaschek
      9. Marcus Johnson
      10. Allan Green

Only Mads Larsen could make some sense here, and that's only on domestic level.

Yea, it's a difficult one for them.

He should fight the winner of Froch-Pascal on Dec 6th.

        Now THAT would be GOOD!

Froch has been mentioned by mentioned by team Kessler so it is a possibility. Of course Froch has to win first.

Its tough for Kessler. If you're not an American fighter, the only way that you'll get big fights, particularly with the Americans is if you hold a title. But in order to hold on to that title, you have to take **** fights. Its catch 22 really.

dawson avoided dianconu thee is no way in hell that he would kess, kess would rip his head off and take a **** down his throat in the opening round!!

kess should fight the winner of froch/jean-pascal. that would get him the WBC belt if he wins and it would allow him to take on someone in the states that is more well known, if he beats taylor, greene, bute or any other well known SMW and looks good while doing it then he becomes mainstream.

i have 2 concerns though - one kess is quite old now, even if he does get himself over to the states he might only have 4 good fights.

second with the age comes the weight issues - if kess finds it harder and harder to boil down to SMW then he might have to go up to LHW. if he does that he will just become another name without a belt and this will lead him to being further avoided later on.

but why pander to the WBA? He won a paper title that seems to be holding him back from facing real competition. Why did he not drop the belt and agree to fight Froch for the WBC title or seek a Taylor fight. Both of which would have been more meaningful. Do as Dawson did recently chase the dream, not the easy paydays.
