yes de la hoya is bigger than floyd but the fought in roughly the same weight divisions.
oscar won his first belt at 130 as did floyd.

most of oscars career was 130-154 except for 2 fights at 160.

floyd has fought at 130-147 with 1 fight at 154.

it'll be fair to judge floyd in all of oscar's fights 130-147.

He'd lose to Hopkins and Quartey. Everyone else, he beats though.

in a word - no. mayweather is a great fighter but you never got the feeling that he really pushed himself and wanted to test himself against fighters who were styles wise a nightmare for him. that said he would probably have beaten them because he just is that damn good but like i said think he would have lost to someone on oscars resume - probably shane mosley.

No he wouldn't. Trinidad had a huge problem with boxers and Floyd had that movement that would have given Trinidad the fits.

Mayweather would have beaten a coke sniffing Whitaker too. Not a prime one of course, but he'd have a good chance of beating the Whitaker that DLH fought.

Mayweather has a good chance of beating Strum too if he adapts to the weight well.

tito had problems with boxers with long jabs.

floyd would try to do his ****** shoulder roll when he got stuck on the ropes and get ktfo.

floyd's speed would give tito problems but eventually tito will catch him. floyd doesn't have the strength and power to keep tito away.

Mayweather is the most ****ty boxer to ever lace gloves.

This guy had the skills and talent to really go deep and see where he stands.

He had decent power, quick hands, fast reflexes, quick feet and good boxing IQ and yet this fckin-duckin chose to weave and duck opponents his entire career.

The worst part is... when it came time to step up to the plate at a time when the welter division is stacked full...

lil fckin-duckin gayweather *****-retired like the coward that he is.

Quartey with his jab will school gayweather...
Tito at 147 would murder gayweather
Vargas on steroids will walk thru gayweather's punches
                    Prime Mosley will beat gayweather
Hopkins, Sturm are simply too big.

Gayweather could have, would have... but fcking didnt and then *****-retired at his prime.
