    Pavlik vs. Bute @ 164

Since every time a fighter loses their stock in public opinion in forums drop dramatically and everyone think every other top fighter that has not lost recently will beat them. Who takes this matchup. I think Pavlik could do more of the things Andrade did to Bute, then Bute executing what Hopkins did to Pavlik. But it could easily be the opposite as well.

Bute has the skills and movement to beat Pavlik but I don't think Bute can keep up with Pavlik's workrate, if Pavlik can get the workrate going, if it goes to the scorecards, I think Bute wins but I wouldn't count out a Pavlik knockout down the stretch. It's actually a pretty bad stylistic matchup for Pavlik, it's just I'm not sure if Bute can keep Pavlik away for 12 rounds.

Edit: And Pavlik doesn't carry extra weight well.

I give Pavlik the chin advantage to as he took a lot a shots/combos from Hopkins. While Bute held to negate Andrade most of the fight and was hurt/stunned in the 1st and couple other rounds getting hit less.

At supermiddleweight, I see Andrade able to walk Pavlik down in any way he see's fit. Pavlik doesn't dance in the ring, even if he did...he's movin/dancing, he wouldn't be able to find the leverage for a right hand.

LOL I made my post thinkin it was about Pavlik vs Andrade.

But Pavlik vs Bute...I don't know, Bute is a big body, will clinch the life out of you. And Pavlik so far looks absolutely useless above 160.

I'm not sure he is regularly a clincher I just think he needed to do that to survive against Andrade. And are you judging pavlik above 160 from just the hopkins fight or taylor2 as well?

if pavlik gets himself a conditioner and crries the weight well then i can see him getting a late KO.

Bute would outbox him with superior speed and skill but kelly woul force the fight and his power would maybe not hurt bute, but if kelly goes to the body espeiclly with that straight right to the liver he could end up getting the W.

                can bute make 164?
