Carlos Quintana Stops Joshua Onyango in Four Rounds

In his first bout since being stopped by Paul Williams in one-round back in June, former WBO welterweight champion Carlos Quintana (26-2, 20KOs) returned at Coliseo Manuel ‘Petaca’ Iguina in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, stopping journeyman Joshua Onyango (14-16, 11KOs) of Kenya in four-rounds. The fight took place at the agreed upon weight of 152. [details]

I hope Quintana returns to 147. I'd like to see him against Berto.

Probably tense early because of last fight. Had to get that confidence back. He should try to fight Berto.

It's nice that Quintana won as expected but I think he should slow down with who he calls out, I mean he can call out Williams sure for the deserved rubber match but Margarito and Cotto, knowing that Cotto basically destroyed him for 5 rounds in the first fight is a little extreme, although I will agree that it is great that he has confidence in himself and I hope he achieves the title again or another title. But I hope we see Carlos Quintana vs. Paul Williams III if he comes in there relaxed and ready for action I could see him winning.

Quintana would be destroyed again by Williams. The first fight was a matter of Williams having a bad day at the office.

Why does everyone always say Cotto battered Quintana in their fight???? The fight was by no means one sided until the 5th round when Quintana got destroyed.

quintana can definitely get a decision against williams cuz all that talk bout williams havin a bad day at the office the first time around is bs, but i dont think he's gonna survive cotto. maybe he'll last a 12 round beating against cotto, but margarito would do to him what andrade did to bute.

                    Quintana should fight Berto.

I would want to see how Berto handles a slick guy like Quintana. Im pretty sure they would'nt take the risk though.
