That was pretty much what was expected from this fight, that last shot didn't look too powerful but it was the first 5 or 6 punch combination that he threw so it could have caught Haussler off guard while he was trying to punch back, he probably didn't even see the punch. Hopefully Kessler steps up his competition now.

Team Palles last statement before the fight was on the 21 of Juli, and stated it was a pathetic mismatch, and they didn't want part of it.

Palles comments in today’s news was "this victory impresses nobody".

Just to point out - nobody has ever tried to talk this fight up, except the Germans, and only WBA is to blame for this ever taking place..

Kessler earned the freedom to negotiate for his future last night, something he hasn’t been able to do since the JC fight.

Of course i saw it on german TV and i knew something like that would happen.
All the german experts and even the promoters knew that it would be a huge upset for Haussler if he would win, it was just seen as one big last payday for Häussler whos a verry nice guy. I thought it would last longer though cause Haussler had the reputation of a tough guy who can take a good shot but that combination of Kessler was a beauty, Kessler is a verry good fighter at SMW and Haussler never ever has fought somebody at that level. I hope Kessler can go on now to fight some real opponents.

I dont think it was suspect,Kessler him with two clean shots right on the chin.Although Kessler himself seemed shocked,The look on his face said it all.

His offense is terrible and no wonder he has a record like he does, hes been fighting nobody's for the longest. This guys turtles up and panics when you throw punches at him. Its like he doesn't know how to block if someone is coming at him with a combination of punches. Hell I'll give Lacy a good chance to knock this guy out, even though Lacy is pretty damn one dimensional himself, but he comes foward and punches wildly and Kessler panics when you get close to him.

When he decided to step up he got beat pretty easy. Joe exposed him for what he is. A hype job with a built record off weak opponents such as this guy here. Hes very lucky the super middle weight division is looking pretty weak with guys like Hopkins and Joe moved to face each other. Damn come to think about it, that whole damn super middle weight division is pretty weak right now. **** he should fight Jermain Taylor after he beats Lacy the one dimensional fighter.
Look, Kessler wasn't even starting his offence. He threw one combination of four punches and knocked a guy down who never have been down before. After the fight he told a danish channel that Kessler is one of the strongest in the world.
Kessler didn't even start boxing and he still won on that effective jab.

hmm. It's the first time he's fought decent level of competition. Don't try and make it sound like Kessler claimed a great scalp by KO'ing him.

My uncle told me that they get to be mandatory because they pay the organization and they rank them up there.

Yeah your uncle is a smart man, Most promoter just pay this organisation to get there fighters ranked, Most boxer under frank warren gets move up the ranking without actually fighting anybody and the european promoters have follow the same lead.

They would probably bring over a couple of deadbeat american or mexicans who are in their late 30s someone who has been in the ring in the past with a boxing legend etc.

I havent seen any boxer who has done things the right way especially anyone promoted by Frank warren, Kolle or this german promoters.
