    worst referee in a fight

    the first one that comes to mind is richard steel in tyson vs. rud**** (just watched that fight) anyone anyothers?

          Gonzalez in Raheem vs Juarez fight.. what a joke that was.

          And steele was correct in his decision in Chavez vs Taylor. Complaining because he didnt bend the rules in that fight dont seem right.

              Steele did a fine job in Chavez/Taylor. When you ask a guy if he is OK twice and you get nothing from him you stop the fights. Its not a ref's job to keep time.

              Eddie Cotton in Lewis/Tyson gets my vote. That **** was a flat out joke.

                no, he's still reffing. not too long ago I looked him up on boxrec just to see if he was still around and he was. I just looked at boxrec because I knew this would be asked and i can't find the ref search any more.

                with some of his actions and his calls, I wouldn't doubt that he got caught by someone betting on the fights he was officiating.
