How do you think Ricky and Floyd sr. get along?

I can't fathom it. What do these guys have in common at all?

One's an ex-con drug dealer from the streets, who is now a proficient boxing trainer with a record to back it up.

The other is the typical "every man", alcoholic, who loves greasy food and pub humor.

You think Ricky or Floyd Sr. ever stop to think about the fact that Floyd Sr.'s ***** knocked out Ricky?

        Seriously.

Neither of them could've known that the nut Floyd Sr. busted out 30 years ago would grow up to do this to Ricky.

I thought this when they announced he was using Mayweather, they just seem different in every way. Apperntly they get on well, but I can't see it myself.

Being so different may actually be a positive thing. Kind of like Rocky and Mickey.

Hatton's buddy-buddy relationship with Billy Graham probably allowed Hatton to not train as serious as he should have been doing.

And no matter their differences, they both share one common trait, a hatred for Floyd jr

                  Yeah, that much is certain.

I can imagine how that conversation must go down..........

Ricky : Ye know, yer really nuffin' like 'dat son of yers, ye seems like good compan-eh.

Floyd Sr. : Floyd got too big for his britches, I'm his damn daddy! You coulda' beat that boy if I was your trainer, I know all Floyd's secrets. I'm his damn daddy!

                  Ricky : ...........................................

I get the impression that Ricky could get along with anyone.
