Well now I love Pacquiao and I HOPE he knocks out De La Hoya BUT lets face it...NO fighter besides De La Hoya has ever made that great of a jump in weight class and win a fight....and when Oscar did it....it was against a nobody Felix Sturm who ACTUALY beat his ass the whole fight and still gave it to Oscar. And now Pacqioa is guna do it against one of Boxings greatest fighters or atleast legend...ummm Im not very confident about that.....BUT I AM ROOTING FOR PACMAN! oscar was 154 champ when he jumped to 160. a ton of guys coming from 154 challenged for a 160 belt.

henry armstrong went from 126 to 135 to 147. in the old days there was no junior or super divisions.

a lot of 135 guys in boxing history have jumped straight from 135 to 147.

duran and mosley for example.

granted duran and mosley are natural big lightweights and manny is a natural feather but still.

duran fought sugar ray leonard. shane fought 147 oscar.
