    Knowledgable Fans Vs Dumb Fans!!

The reason Paq vs Hoya is selling out is because the casual fight fans that only know bigs names are buying the vast majority of the tickets. How can you people be fans of boxing and not realize that Cotto is telling the truth when he says fights like that are bad for boxing? Dont you realize that Cotto could have played this game as well (Thats the problem with boxing when fighters duck the challenges dumb fans give them respect) CMON WE ALL ARE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT THE FIGHT MAKES MONEY$$$$ its a smart fight financially but as far as a "GREAT FIGHT" spare me. Your hippocrits. When everyone was ducking Margarito it was ok? I bet you Margarito agrees with Cotto! DO WE AS FIGHT "FANS" WANT TO SEE GREAT FIGHTS WITH EVENLY MATCHED FIGHTERS OR DO WE WANT TO SEE THESE FIGHTERS MAKE BIG MONEY FIGHTING GUYS THEY FEEL ARE NO THREAT OR EVEN BUMS? SHOULD HOPKINGS MAKE MARGARITO GAIN 30LBS AND BEAT THE **** OUT OF HIM SO HE CAN GET PAID? PERSONALLY I DONT WANT TO SEE A FIGHTER LIKE MAYWEATHER ON "CRIBS" THROWING MONEY AROUND KNOWING HE DUCKED THE ONE WHO THREATENED HIM THE MOST. No disrespect to Pacman ..he is great but he is out of his weight class big time and he will get knocked out. Should Chad Dawson move up and fight Vitali or his brother? Should JuanMA move up and fight Paul Williams....all big names but we know what will happen. Let the promoters pull the wool over the eyes, bamboozle, flim flam, bull****, the casual fans, the dumb fans, the ignorant fans, or the fans that only want to see their favorite fighter make money and play it safe. But dont expect the REAL, TRUE AND KNOWLEDGABLE FANS TO FALL FOR THIS CRAP OF MATCHING NAMES. I GUARENTEE WHEN MAYWEATHER IS 70 YRS OLD AND ENJOYED HIS MONEY TO THE FULLEST AND HAD ALL HIS FANTASIES COME TRUE HE WILL REGRET THAT HE NEVER TOOK A CHANCE AND WILL WONDER IF HE COULD HAVE BEAT COTTO. NOW COTTO WILL SLEEP FINE EVEN WITH LOSSES KNOWING HE FOUGHT THE BEST. I KNOW PACMAN WILL TOO. FOR THE WHINERS.

This long winded **** just turns people off even if you're tryin to make a real point. It's obvious anyway. Casuals come outta the woodwork for any of the couple of name fighters they recognize, so this bull**** fight is still sellable to the public despite most true fans ****tin all over it.

you ain't a true fan of the sport if you DON'T wanna see this fight.

        is it a mismatch? yes.

but you got the biggest name in boxing against arguably the best one.

how do you not wanna see this fight?

you'll watch 2 nobodies clinch for 4 rounds on versus or espn but you don't want to see this fight?

give me a break. people need to get off their high horse.

if you are SHOCKED about this fight and think it's a freak show then you must be pretty ignorant about boxing history. it's happened a lot of times before and involving some big name people back then.

I still want to see it, how could you not?! It's guaranteed action and excitement.

As for whether it's bad for boxing or not, i'm not sure. It gives people false impressions, but boxing needs these kind of mega fights to keep it alive and competing with MMA.

              $59.95 baby......

yeah i mean yeah i'd rather see oscar-marg or oscar-santos and of course i'd rather see pac-juan or pac-juanma or pac-nate but they made this fight.

it's either watch this or nothing. i find it intriguing. oscar is huge but he's past prime and how will making 147 for the 1st time in like 6 years hurt him? pac is too small but pac is fast and has good stamina and unlike oscar is in the prime of his career.

how can you miss this? the #1 p4p fighter in the world is trying to do something very difficult for him. pac is not floyd. pac is not as skilled. floyd fought oscar after years at 140 and 147. pac has 1 fight at 135 and going to 147. it's very intriguing.

i laugh at all these higher than thou ****ers talking about how they watch this fight on versus , this fight on espn and they don't want to see this fight?

please...... these mofo's will be asking around for who ordered it and can they come by or online trying to get a sopcast.

Casual fans are the reason Boxing still exsists as a mainstream sport, if it wasn't for them the sport would be consigned to half empty arena's in from of 300-500 people with no money for either fighter.

Promoters use casual fans to pay the up and coming pretenders and the steady journeymen who would otherwise leave the sport. Without them boxing would die rapidly.

                    that's wassup...me too!...lol

But I must agree this hurts the sport long-term..DLH should take on the Margarito's, and Williams, and Cotto's..

He wants to be considered the best even now?..fight the best now!..but not 2-3 weight classes below u..that's shameful..but financially our respect towards him don't do ****!..cuz he's gettin paid regardless!
