Also, when Pac fought Morales early in his career, he was as one dimensional as they come! All he had going for him was his left hand! It was so predictable! He's just lucky his speed and power made up for it.
No i dont think Miguel had improved at all seen it all before early in his career, Gomez was just such a drop in class he made it look like Cotto was King Kong.

Fair play on Pac tho He HAS Improved a bit since then no question but not enough that i can honestly rate him over a prime non shop worn Erik Morales

pac fans always claim hes gotten better after fighting a washed up or mediocre fighter. they claimed that he beat morales the second time around because pac had improved while ignoring the obvious fact that morales' career was going in a downward spiral. But he didnt look better in his recent fight with jmm, then he fights punching bag diaz and they claim he's become a master technician
I don't think its because Pac isn't improving that he didn't look any better against JMM. I think its more because JMM is a master technician himself. I also think JMM is a really bad matchup for Pac.

Just think, what are the skills you need to beat Pac? JMM has them all:

      respectable power
sharp counterpunching (best in the sport with Mayweather out I'd say)
      good defense
able to adjust and gameplan midfight
      respectable handspeed

Basically what I'm saying is, sure it's hard to see Pac's improvements against JMM because he's a hall of famer himself, and also happens to be a terrible matchup against Pac. That doesn't mean he isn't improving. His right hand should be proof of that.

Fair enough, I guess we agree to disagree.

pac is going to have an edge in this type of poll because all filipinos and pac fans are going to receive his votes while the rest are going to have votes split among them. anyway, this is how i see it..

i think pac may have always given barrera problems
morales would have always had pacs number
marquez and pac would have always had close fights (although i think jmm earned the nod in the last fight)
mab would have edged out jmm
we all know the wars em vs mab became
and jmm vs morales is a ??? for me

U seem like a good poster but if we all agreed on everything then it would blow - worse than Mannys performance against JMM! lol j/k

uh this should be a landslide for Pacquiao. I accidentally voted for Barrera. I'd rank them, Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera and then Marquez

A past prime morales can still beat the crap out of a boxer except barrera.. But pac destroyed him.. Lets pretend morales is in his prime in the second fight.. Dont you think it would be a close fight with pac edgeding in the later rounds..

Pac is in a disadvantage in the first fight because of the bloody cut and cost him the fight..
Cuts usually distract you especially if your the agressor.

Morales seems always to lose to barrera so I'll put barrera after pac... A prime barrera would beat a prime marquez no doubt..

Diss Pac all you want but he already beat all 3. MAB was still prime the 1st time, EM the 2nd time, and JMM is Pac's toughest opponent, even tho Erik did get a win on him and JMM didn't.
